　　TheUniversity of Sussex has 12,000 students, including 2,300 from outsidethe UK from 120 countries; about 280 come from China. The campus is inparkland close to the south-coast city of Brighton. London is only 50minutes from Brighton by train。

　　In The Times Higher Education Supplement ranking of world universities(2008)， Sussex was placed 130th in the world and 20th in the UK. ThreeNobel Prize winners have come from the sciences at Sussex。
