2009年中国国际教育展将于10月17日在北京拉开帷幕，随后巡回武汉、上海、成都和广州5个城市，以下为英国此次参展院校The Technical University of Madrid (UPM, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)简介：

　　The TechnicalUniversity of Madrid (UPM, "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid") is theonly exclusively technical university in Madrid, and the largest andoldest technical University in Spain。

　　With more than 3,300 facultymembers, around 37,000 undergraduate students, and approximately 8,000graduate and PhD students, UPM is made up of 21 Schools dealing withthe different areas of technology, 30 engineer degrees, 50 PhDprograms. 12 of the 21 schools are Advanced Technical Schools awardingEngineering degrees (integrated Masters) of either five or six yearsduration as well as Masters and PhD degrees, and the rest are TechnicalSchools which award three year study degrees. UPM is arranging itsstudy programs to comply with the Bologna Declaration to facilitate thecombination of studies among UPM and any international network ofleading universities。

　　UPM has 87 double degree programs,international student exchanges with over 400 universities, and highereducation centers in Europe and other parts of the world including adozen universities in China. Every academic year, close to 1000 UPMstudents study abroad and a similar number of foreign students。
