2009年中国国际教育展将于10月17日在北京拉开帷幕，随后巡回武汉、上海、成都和广州5个城市，以下为日本国此次参展院校筑波大学简介：

　　Since its founding in 1973, the University of Tsukuba has placed special emphasis on the promotion of internationalization in every field. Based on our track record and future plan for internationalization, the Ministry of Education in Japan has recently selected our university as one of the 13 universities under its “Global 30” Project. These universities are expected to play a major role in further promoting internationalization of Japanese universities as a whole.

　　At our university, over 1,500 international students from over 100 countries and territories are currently studying state-of-the-art technology, traditional Japanese art and more on a huge campus surrounded by natural abundant beauty. Our university aims to triple the number of international students by 2020 and boost our Japanese students who study abroad. To achieve these goals, we will take various measures such as launching a number of degree programs in English and providing a wide range of support services to our students. Through these efforts, we aim to nurture students with broader perspectives and also to create an environment friendly to our international students in every aspect.
