为帮助自费出国留学[微博]人员正确选择国外学习学校，加强对自费留学中介活动的监管，引导自费留学中介机构与国外正规学校开展合作，教育部公布了40个我国公民主要留学国家1万多所学校名单，基本涵盖了我公民主要留学目的地国正规高等学校。所公布名单根据有关情况定期调整，目前为第三十五版，更新时间为2013年01月06日。

　　一、基本情况

　　英国高等教育机构包括大学、高等教育学院、教育学院以及艺术及设计学院。

　　英国现有90多所大学和150多所提供本科以上课程的学院。

　　英国各类院校是否开设预科由各学校自己确定。
