Far Behind 落后

I read this sentence in a BBC script, "I'm so far behind with work." I don't know its meaning. Could you please tell me what it means and give me some more examples. Thank you.

Lisa from Shanghai.

Work, work, work! Sometimes you can have so much to do you might say "I'm so far behind with work". When you are far behind in anything it means you are long way back from where you had expected to be.

In the workplace, if you have too much to do or you've just been gossiping, you may find you get behind, or late, in your work.

Too much to do!

Listen to the programme for these sayings: 'I'm way behind', 'I can't keep on top of my work' and 'I'm up against it'.
