The road not taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, Any sorry i could not travel both And be one traveler, long i stood And looked down one as far as i could To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Has worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and i --- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
未踏上的路
金色的林子里分出两条道, 可惜我不能两条路同行 我这个过路人久久地立在林道 朝着其中的一和极目去眺 直到它隐没在远处的草丛;
然后我走上另一条林径, 它一样的诱人,也许有更好的原由讲, 因为它绿草如茵,鲜少有踏痕, 尽管一旦有人行经 它也会和别的路变的一样,
那天早晨这两条道上都覆盖着落叶 都没有被人踩过的痕迹。 呵,我且把第一条搁上一搁! 尽管我也知道道路与路相连交错, 或许我再也不能够回到这里。
若干年后我许会在哪儿讲起它 其中不无遗憾不无叹息: 有两条路在树林里分叉, 我把那条鲜有人至的路去踏, 然后才有了这以后所有的差异。 |
