　　international education exposition

　　from sep.7th to sep.11th, changchun, one of the fam ous northern city of china, has welcomed"2000 changchun international education exposition". It was an educatio nal grand event following last year's successful one. T his education exposition, sponsored by international ed ucaton exchange association of china and changchun city government, draws great attention from education circle s both dometic and abroad. There were altogether 265 co lleges, universities and institutions, from 18 countrie s and regions, in attendance for this exposition.

　　The show of the latest domestic & abroad research, the educational soft wares and the international educat ion forum are made up of this education exposition. The most important section of it is the educational forum. On the opening day, the organizing committee held a gra nd reception party to celebrate the convention of the e xposition with the guests, representatives and experts.

　　Sep.8th, the education forum convened as planned. T his forum was presented by mrs. Hao keming, the first v ice president of the internaitional education exchange association of china, the chairman of the research asso ciation of education strategic development of china. Th ere are four sub-conference halls. Many experts and sch olars deliver rich speeches about the reform, developme nt and forecast on the national & interantional educati on development in the 21st century.

　　’2000年中国长春国际教育展览会

　　9月7日至11日中国的北方名城---长春迎来了“2000中国长春国际教育展览会”，这是继去年成功地举办 第一次教育展览会的又一次国际教育盛会。

　　本届教育展是由中国教育国际交流协会、长春市政府等单位组办的，吸引了海内外教育界的极大关注，共有18个国 家地区的265所国内外院校、教育团体、机构参加。

　　此次大会活动由展示国内外最新科研成果、教育软件、合资办学与国际教育论坛组成。而论坛更是教育展的展中之展 。当天，组委会举行了大型招待会，与参会的来宾代表、专家学者共同庆贺本届盛会的顺利召开。

　　9月8日国际教育论坛如期举行，论坛由中国教育国际交流协会的第一副会长、中国教育发展战略研究会理事长郝克 明女士担任总论坛主席。下设四个分论坛，来自国内外的专家学者。以“21世纪中国与世界教育的改革与发展和展望”为主 题发表了热情洋溢的演讲。

　　威廉姆森：我们正处在一个新时代。很明显，在这场变革中，知识资本正取代经济和自然资本，而成为力量、财富与 福利的关键。信息技术的发展是知识革命的最重要的因素。

　　威廉姆森教授现担任美国BAYLOR(贝勒)大学教育管理系主任，是当今美国师范教育领域里较有影响的权威。
