Madonna wants to meet Queen

　　Pop queen Madonna has one ambition that still hasn' t been fulfilled—she wants to be pals with England's Qu een Elizabeth. The "Music" superstar, a self-confessed royalist, is not content with being friends with Prince Charles, and aims to take her new anglophilia(英国崇拜) rig ht to the top. She says, "I think it's great that there 's a monarchy. People should stop slagging them off." M addy adds her daughter Lourdes is also a royal freak, a nd would love to visit Her Majesty. She adds, "Lola wan ts to go over to her house as well. It's so funny. Ever y time we go past Buckingham Palace I say, 'See that? T hat's where the Queen lives.' And Lola says, 'Mummy, ca n't we go visit the Queen?' Then I say, 'Yeah, let's go ring the doorbell.'" Now Maddy has made it her resoluti on to really get to know the Queen, because she's royal -crazy. She adds, "I like good old kings and queens. Th ey hark back such a long time. So long live the Queen."
