　　The Associated press March 31 2001 Tornado Hits Pakistan A child in Chak Miran village 200 kilometers southeast of Islamabad Pakistan collects his belongings from debris following the powerful tornado which destroyed his house. Four people were killed and dozens injured whena powerful tornado slashed(hit) the Punjab Provincein eastern Pakistan on March 28th destroying over 100 houses. According to local officials somehundreds of people were left homeless as a result of the destroyed houses. Rainstorms hit most of the areas in Pakistan inrecent days some areas were even striken by hailstones.
