Jin Tai Art Museum was formally opened on June 30, 1997, which has already become the biggest folk art collection museum and one of the most important scenics. The capital for the foundation of this museum was collected by the famous painter Yuan Xikun.

　　The architecture area of Jin Tai Art Museum is 3600 square meters, with complete equipments and unique architecture style. Jin Tai Art Museum is composed of five roofs whose shapes are Ren ,which looks like five elegant stations. Besides, it is next to the famous Setting Sun Shining on Jin Tai, which is one of Eight Beijing Scenes, therefore, this museum got its name Jin Tai.

　　Jin Tai Art Museum lies by the Chaoyang Lake which is the second largest lake of Beijing. Around this lake, there are pines planted by the leaders of China and abroad. These trees make Jin Tai more beautiful and full of poetry.The aim of Jin Tai Art Museum is to increase culture taste, promote the development of national art and further the culture exchange of China and foreign countries.

　　Yuan Xikun, the manager of Jin Tai Art Museum, are good at drawing the portraits and has portrayed for many influential people in the world, which gains great reputation and received many thanks from those people. They wrote a few words on the portraits to commemorate.

　　The biggest hall of Jin Tai Art Museum is 800 square meters in area, 20 meters high.
