Shanghai Labor and Social Security Bureau yesterday unveiled new salary regulations that will gosintoseffect on April 1.

　　The regulation, composed of 27 items, was amended based on the previous version that wentsintoseffect in 1995. It states that workers should be paid time-and-a-half for overtime work and employers should pay workers at least 70 percent of their monthly salary during their annual leave of absence when they go back to hometown to visit their parents.
