A 35-YEAR-old man with property worth over 100 million yuan (US.1 million) has placed a "lonely heart" advertisement in 16 domestic newspapers according to a report in the Chengdu Shangbao. The divorced rich man who now lives in Shanghai placed the advertisement on April 8. In the ad he said he was seeking a partner around 20 to 25 years old, with a college background, good looks and figure, who is healthy, talented and tender. One item catching people's eyes was the requirement the women have no previous sexual experience. He would only accept letters or emails as replies. According to his good friend Fu Quanyou, this millionaire is from Northeast China. After years of hard work, he now owns a large enterprise involved in domestic and foreign trade. He moved to Shanghai five years ago. "He has a BMW and a Mercedes Benz and also luxury a villa. The interior decoration of the villa alone cost him about 10 million yuan (US.21 million)," Fu told the Nanfang Dushibao. About 100 women answered his lonely-heart advertisement the next day. In the next few days, Fu's telephone and mobile began to ring all day long. Applicants come from around the country. About 5 per cent are recommended by their parents. One or two professors recommended excellent students. But most are the young women themselves. Fu said he would first read the letters to make sure the applicants meet his demands. After that they would talk on the telephone. Finally they would make a date in Shanghai. The transportation fee would be met by the rich man. If the woman is already in Shanghai, she should be accompanied by one family member or a friend. He also said the whole process would be monitored by his legal consultant. "If he can't find an ideal partner this way, we may move on to a further plan," Fu said. (Star News) |
