A FATHER had invaded a school classroom and stabbed his son's teacher because he felt she had failed to safeguard the boy from humiliation,, according to the Beijing Star Daily.

　　The attack occurred in Beijing's Qinghe No. 4 Primary School last Monday. A classmate of Tian Yiwen (not his real name) had suspected that Tian had stolen something from him. He told his parents and his father went to the school to check Tian's bag.

　　When Tian told his father about the incident, the father felt his son had been humiliated. He blamed Dong Yuhua, the boy's teacher, for allowing the search.

　　One of the pupils in the class said Tian's father had rushedsintosthe classroom at noon on April 21 and began arguing with Dong.

　　He suddenly produced a knife and stabbed Dong four times.

　　She was rushed to hospitalswheresdoctors said her condition was serious. She had stab wounds to her left eye, right side of the chest, left kidney and stomach.

　　"The injury to the eye is especially serious. Even if she recovers, she is very likely to lose the use of her left eye," a doctor said. Local police have launched an investigation. (Star News)
