Former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic, who is struggling with a foot injury, has pulled out of the French Open, the organizers said on Tuesday.

　　The Croat's spot will be taken by Marc Rosset of Switzerland. Ivanisevic underwent minor surgery last month to remove a piece of seashell that stuck in his foot while he was strolling on a Florida beach. He had already been struggling after a shoulder operation last year. The injury to his left foot forced him to miss the Davis Cup quarterfinals in which Spain swept Croatia 5-0.
