Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen tops the list of male celebrities women secretly fancy but pretend not to, according to a new poll.

　　Nearly one in four UK women admitted they had a crush on the long-haired, TV presenter.

　　Jonathan Ross was in second place with 24% of the vote, followed by Ainsley Harriott and Alan Titchmarsh who took third and fourth places respectively.

　　Richard Madeley and Jeremy Paxman also figured highly in the survey of more than 1,400 women polled by AOL.

　　Josa Young, head of AOL's Women's Channel commented: "We all say we don't fancy the likes of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen or Richard Madeley and we pretend to find Ainsley Harriott irritating.

　　"But the truth is so many women secretly do find them attractive - either for their charm, their wit, or in Llewelyn-Bowen's case, a Mills and Boon-esque desire to be seduced by a man with a Prince Charming hair do who won't moan when you suggest a shopping trip to Ikea."

　　Sheila Redfern, clinical psychologist and lecturer in Psychology at Guy's Hospital, says women tend to be attracted to men they consider attainable.

　　　"Men such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt would be rated as physically attractive, but seen as existing in another world as far as most women are concerned," she explained.
