U.S. Freezes Financial Assets of 10 Malaysian Terror Suspects

　　The United States has frozen the finan-cial assets of 10 Malaysians consid-ered to be "global terrorists," including alleged key members of the al-Qai-da-linked Asian group Jemaah Islamiyah.

　　On Frida,, U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow，while attending a meeting of finance ministers of the Asia Pacific Eco-nomic Cooperation forum in Thailand, announced the United States had frozen financialassets of 10 other suspects, mostly Indonesians. The U.S. Office of Foreign Asset Control posted all 20 names on its web site, calling them "spe-cially designated global terrorists."
