　　1It's an old photo of my family.这是我家的一张旧照片。

　　(1)photo意思是“照片”，复数是photos。picture也可以用来表示“照片”，还可以指“画，画像，图片”等。而photo

　　不能译为“图画”。

　　(2)old可表示“旧的”，“年老的”，指年龄，可作定语，也可作表语。例如：

　　She is my old friend.她是我的老朋友。

　　His grandmother is very old.他的奶奶年纪很大。

　　2They look young.他们看上去挺年轻。

　　look在此为系动词，意思为“看上去”，后接形容词。例如：

　　He looks old.他看上去年纪很大。

　　You look fine.你看上去气色不错。

　　3Who's that man between your mother and father?

　　在你的妈妈和爸爸之间的那个人是谁?

　　between是介词，意为“在(两者)之间”。例如：

　　The map of France is between the two windows.
