　　After the dance, Scott calls Jessica to see how her date went:

　　Scott: So, was the dance like a fairy tale?

　　Jessica:Besides a few awkward moments, it was amazing.

　　Scott:Did he ask you out on a second date?

　　Jessica:No, but what if he does? I want to see James again, but I don't want to appear too keen.

　　Scott:Do what my sister does. She won't return a guy's call until twenty-four hours after he phones her.

　　Jessica:Good idea! That way, James will think I'm not anxious to see him again, and that I have my own life.

　　Scott:Precisely. Also, if James calls you after Wednesday to make a date for the weekend, tell him you already have plans.

　　Jessica:Won't he think I'm avoiding him?

　　Scott:No! He will think you're sought after.

　　Jessica:This is crazy! Life would be easier if all men came with a manual!

　　Scott:That's how I feel about women!

　　Jessica:Well, thanks for your recommendations, but I think I'll just follow my heart and do what I feel.

　　Scott:Yeah, James is no doubt as nervous as you are. Just be yourself. Who knows? You guys could be a match made in heaven!
