Fourteen workers who were sent to Putuo District Central Hospital for food poisoning on Wednesday night have been discharged from hospital, doctors said yesterday.

　　The workers, all natives from Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, worked at a construction site on Tongchuan Road. The soybean sprout in their supper was suspected to have a poisonous chemical which had been used to develop the bud. Officials from the Shanghai Health Supervision Agency have collected samples from the workers and their supper for further inspection.
