期中考试快要到了,为了让同学们复习好前面学过的有关问候、意愿和希望、传递信息、感谢和应答、可能和不可能、道歉、遗憾、同情和应答等方面的日常用语,本期将其常用表达法归纳如下:

　　1. 问候

　　a. Good morning/afternoon/evening!

　　Hi/Hello!

　　How are you! How are you doing?

　　Please say hello to your parents.

　　Please give my love/best wishes to Lucy.

　　Please remember me to your parents.

　　b. Good morning/afternoon/evening!

　　Hi/Hello!

　　I'm OK. / Fine, thanks, and you?

　　Very well, thank you.

　　Fine, thank you. And you?

　　Sure. / All right.

　　2. 意愿和希望

　　a. I wish to see you again.

　　I hope to become a doctor.

　　I hope it stays fine.

　　I hope so.

　　I hope not.

　　I wish I were younger.

　　b. I'm going to...

　　I intend/mean/plan to...

　　I will...

　　I feel like...

　　I'd like to...

　　I would rather not tell you.

　　3. 传递信息

　　a. Will you please give this note/message to...?

　　...asked me to give you this note.

　　May I speak to...?

　　Can I take a message for...?

　　May I leave a message?

　　b. Thanks for the message.

　　Thank you for the message.

　　Thanks a lot.

　　Thank you for giving me the message.

　　4. 感谢和应答

　　a. Thank you very much. / Thanks a lot.

　　Thank you for your help.

　　It's very kind / nice of you.

　　I really appreciate your help.

　　b. It's a pleasure. / My pleasure.

　　That's all right. / That's OK.

　　You are welcome.

　　Don't mention it.

　　5. 可能和不可能

　　a. He may/can come today.

　　It may snow tonight.

　　It's possible for me to finish my homework before 6 o'clock.

　　It's likely to rain this afternoon.

　　It's likely that you will lose this game.

　　b. He may not come so early.

　　He can't be in the office now.

　　It's not likely to snow soon.

　　It's impossible to finish my homework within one hour.

　　6. 道歉、遗憾、同情和应答

　　a. Sorry/ Pardon.

　　I'm sorry. I beg your pardon.

　　I am sorry for/ about...

　　I am sorry to hear you are going away.

　　I'm sorry to have + V-ed.
