Staring june 10, three stations along the RT No. 3, or the city's longer elevated metro line, will suspend service while tests are done on a new signaling system and a sinking foundation is bolstered, city authorities announced yesterday.
The three stations, namely Shilong Road Station, Longcao Road Station and Caoxi Road Station located at the line's southern end, will be closed for 60 days. Then Yishan Road station will serve as the southern terminal of the line leading to Jiangwan Township in the north. Local public transport authorities have prepared buses to link the closed stations.
