“It’s me. I’m taking an exam tomorrow, so tonight I’m here to rest,” Sportsman said.

　　The scientist smiled, “Do you always come here before your exam?” All of a sudden, he felt a gust of cold air hit his back. “Have you seen anyone else while you were here?”

　　“Anyone else? No!” Sportsman looked around.

　　The wind blew without stopping and that made the curtains swing strangely. A weird look appeared on the scientist’s face.

　　“I’m not used to having exams. I don’t feel well when I have one. I’d rather stay here,” Sportsman said, feeling really relaxed.

　　“What’s so good about this place?” the scientist asked.

　　Sportsman said, “It makes me feel relaxed yet mysterious, so I always come here before my exam to regain my interest in fields unknown to humans. Oh, what is this?” As his hand touched the box lying on the floor.

　　“Don’t touch it!” yelled the scientist. The scientist saw that it was the mysterious box from his drawer and had no reason to be on the floor. Sportsman must have taken it out, he thought. “You must have opened my drawer again, Sportsman! You are just like my brother when he was your age,” the scientist grumbled.

　　“He is surely smarter than me,” he said weakly, “but the petal drove him crazy …”

　　It was late at night. The scientist had fallen asleep. But the shadow of the Crystal Petal and the mysterious box floated in his mind from time to time. Suddenly, his body trembled all over and the curtains waving beside the box seemed to become a black mantle.

　　“No!” The scientist rushed back into the room and opened the drawer immediately. But nothing was there.

　　Just at that time, he felt a tremendous shake deep from the earth …

　　All the children were involved in their exam papers when suddenly a big noise came from afar … “Bang … bang …”

　　“Did you hear that?” Sportsman asked a girl beside him.

　　“Yes!” she answered.

　　The noise became more and more clear. “Where did that noise come from?” The teacher was also startled by it.

　　“I will check it out!” Sportsman ran to the window, and the other students followed him at once.

　　A huge robot appeared from the sea …

　　“Oh, god!” A little girl nearly fainted.

　　“Look, he destroyed a ship!” another girl cried. Her glasses almost fell off her face.

　　A boy opened his PC and immediately calculated the monster’s speed. “If he keeps walking like this, he will get here in three days. Then, we will all be destroyed by his power!”
