　　析:答案:C。 本句意为:当试卷批完后,她(数学老师)发现有十二个孩子在考试中犯了完全一样的错误(出现了雷同卷)。mark此处用作及物动词,意为give marks to"给(学生作业等)批分数,评成绩",而不是平时大家熟悉的"做标记"。

　　在我们教材第18单元中还出现了这样的句子:

　　The happier events are marked with speeches, singing and dancing. 喜事以演说、唱歌和跳舞为标志。

　　从以上例句中我们可以看出,mark是一个词义、用法多变的单词,因此大家不可忽视。下面把其用法简要归纳如下:

　　一、mark用作名词,主要表示以下意义:污点, 斑点;符号,标签;(性质、感情等的)痕迹,迹象;分数;目标,目的;(体育)起跑线等。如:

　　Who made these dirty marks on my new book? 谁把我的新书弄脏了?

　　The horse with a white mark on its head runs the fastest. 头上有白斑的马跑得最快。

　　The white marks painted on the tree are used to show the route. 树上涂的那些白色的符号是用来指示行进路线的。

　　Please accept this gift as a mark of our respect. 请接受我们这份薄礼,以表敬意。

　　The arrow missed the mark and the dear escaped. 箭偏离了目标,鹿逃走了。

　　二、mark用作动词,可表示:

　　1. 在某物上做标记。如:

　　Prices are marked on the goods.商品上都标有价钱。

　　2. 指示,表明(某事)。如:

　　There will be ceremonies to mark the Queen's birthday. 庆祝女王生日将举行典礼。

　　3. 给(学生作业等)批分数,评成绩。如:

　　I have twelve articles to mark tonight.今晚我要批阅十二篇文章。

　　4. 以……为特征。如:

　　These are qualities which mark the film as quite exceptional. 这些特征标志着那部电影与众不同。

　　5. 留心,注意。如:

　　Please mark my words. 请留心我说的话。

　　三、mark构成的短语主要有:

　　give sb. full marks给某人打满分;make one's mark出名,成功;beyond the mark 超出界限,过份;beside/off the mark 不切题,不相关;up to the mark身体好,有精神;on your mark(赛跑时用语)各就各位;give sb. a good (bad) mark给某人留下好(坏)印象;make a mark 做标记;mark sth. with...用……给……做标记;mark sb. down给某人减分;mark sb. up 给某人加分;mark down记下等。
