Twelve people were crushed to death when a train ran over them at a railroad station in India yesterday, news reports said. The dead, mostly college students, were alighting from a train at the Sukhi Sevania railroad station in Madya Pradesh state, when a second train ran over them, the Press Trust of India reported. The victims were arguing with each other as they left their train and didn't notice the oncoming one, said railway officer Birendra Singh. |
