Collisions kill 21 in Pakistan |

A speeding bus collided with a trailer truck along a highway and two other trucks rammed each other on another road in southwestern Pakistan yesterday, leaving a total of 21 people dead and six others injured. In the crash involving the bus and trailer, the vehicles slammed into each other in the middle of the road near Khuzdar, a town about 400 kilometers south of Quetta. Eight people in the bus died at the scene and five others succumbed later at a hospital. The bus driver was among the dead. The two trucks collided on a road southeast of Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province, leaving eight people dead. |
