　　Kung Fu legend Bruce Lee to get statue in Hong Kong

　　A draft of the bust of the late Hong Kong kung fu superstar Bruce Lee is displayed inside a workshop in Guangzhou，southern China＇s Guangdong province，early September，2005. Once completed，the two-metre-high statue，titled ＇Bruce Lee Statue：Star of the Century＇，will be the first such statue to be unveiled November 27，2005 in the city to celebrate Lee＇s 65th birth date. This bust was elected among three different types by an online voting，with a total of more than 57，000 votes received.

　　为纪念一代武打巨星李小龙今年65岁的诞辰，香港将于11月27日设置一座高2米的立体纪念像。李小龙的纪念像惟妙惟俏，摆出的迎战造型很有动感。该像目前正在广州一个工场制作。李小龙纪念像的造型早在网上进行了投票，超过57000人从3款造型中选出了他们的心头所好。 王晓鸥

　　What if句型中后面用过去时态表示的是与现在情况相反的虚拟语气，而不是表示过去，因此What if there was no lie的含义应是“如果没有谎言会如何”(现在没有)而不能译出“不曾”；What if后面用should do sth.是与将来情况相反的虚拟语气，因此What if you should decide…应译为“如果你认定……”(将会认定)而没有什么“当初”；get it wrong含义是“弄错，出错”，因此What if I got it wrong简洁译为“如果我错了会如何”即可；that＇s right译为“对了”也会出现歧义：中文的“对了”可以表达忽然想起某事，如果译为“对的”、“没错”或“就是这样”就不会引起这个问题。
