A:Thanksgiving Day is coming.

　　A:感恩节就要到了。

　　B:Yes, it's an American festival…

　　B:是的，这是个美国节日...

　　A:On the fourth Thursday of November each year, it's time to offer thanks, of family gatherings and holiday meals. The story goes like that. In 1662 some European people, mostly religious people, left for America. They went by ship. After a long voyage they arrived in America. It was winter, the weather was very cold.

　　A:在每年十一月的第四个星期四，就是人们表示感谢、家庭聚会和聚餐的时刻。这个节日的起源故事是这样的。在1662年，一些欧洲人，大多数有宗教信仰，经过长途跋涉，他们乘船来到美国，正值寒冷的冬季。

　　B:And under the help of the local American Indians, they learned how to grow crops and they survived. On the coming harvest, they invited the local Indians to have a big feast in order to express their thanks to them. Later it was called Thanksgiving Day.

　　B:在当地印第安人的帮助下，他们懂得如何种植农作物，从此生存下来。在接下来的丰收季节里，他们邀请印第安人参加了一个盛宴，以表感激。后来这一天就成了感恩节。

　　A:Do you love this festival?

　　A:你喜欢这个节日吗?

　　B:Of course! It's nice to have a thankful heart. And I like eating turkey!

　　B:当然！人要有一颗感恩的心。我也喜欢吃火鸡。

　　A:We will also have pumpkin pie!

　　A:还能吃到南瓜饼！

　　B:That's true!

　　B:对啊！
