　　It’s ages since we last met.

　　A Hi! Good to see you again. It’s been such a long time. It’s ages since we last met.

　　B I know. The last time we met was about 6 months ago, wasn’t it?

　　1.When you haven’t seen someone, or done something, or been somewhere for a very long time, you can use It’s ages since . . . / It’s ages since . . ., eg It’s ages since I saw you / It’s ages since I saw you.

　　当你很久没有见到某人，很久没有做某事，或者很久没有去过某地，用It’s ages since . . . / 自从 . . 过去很久了,例如It’s ages since I saw you /很久没有见到你了。

　　2.Remember these time phrases: for a few months / for a few months : only for a short time / only for a short time : about a year ago / about a year ago.
