　　A I used to work in Guangzhou, you know. I worked there a few years ago, for about six months.

　　1.We use the verb phrase used to . . . / used to . . . when we talk about something we did for a time in the past, usually a period of time, eg: I used to work in Harbin / I used to work in Harbin.

　　2.Remember the various phrases you can use when you talk about the past, eg a few years ago / a few years ago : for six months / for six months
