I’ve got your number. I’ll call you at 8.

我有你的电话号码。我8点给你打电话。

A          When you finish work, give me a quick call.

A          当你干完工作后，给我打个电话。

B         OK, if I finish early, I’ll call you.

B          好的，如果我早点干完，我就给你打电话。

A          Then we can fix up where and when to meet.

A          然后我们定在哪里在什么时候碰头。

B         I won’t finish work before 8 in the evening.  Tomorrow will be a long day.

B          晚上8点之前我是不会干完的。明天将是漫长的一天。

A          I know, but if you are not tired we can still meet. 

A          我知道。但是如果你不是太累的话我们一定要见面。

B         Don’t worry.  I’ve got your number.  I’ll call you at 8.

B          别担心。我有你的电话号码。我8点给你打电话。

1        When you are talking about mobiles and calls, you can use various phrases, eg: Give me a quick call / Give me a quick call; I’ve got your number / I’ve got your number: I’ll call you / I’ll call you.

当你谈论手机或者电话时，你可以用不同的短语，例如：Give me a quick call /给我打个电话；I’ve got your number / 我有你的电话号码；I’ll call you /我会给你打电话的。

2        Remember the negative form of the future won’t . . . / won’t . . . (will not . . . / will not . . . ) eg: I won’t finish work before 8 / I won’t finish work before 8.

记住将来时态的否定形式won’t . . . / won’t . . . (will not . . . / will not . . . )例如：I won’t finish work before 8 /8点前我是不会做完的。
