　　1. C: What do you think are the most important elements in learning to speak a foreign language?

　　W: Practice, patience and perseverance. And you have to enjoy losing face.

　　练习、耐心和恒心。而且你要热爱丢脸。

　　2. C: “Learn one more language, live one more life.”Don't you agree?

　　“多学一门语言，多过一种生活。”你同意吗？

　　W: Absolutely! I couldn't agree more.

　　我完全赞同！

　　3. C: The only way to really know another culture is to learn the language, because language is the carrier of culture. What's your opinion?

　　真正了解一种文化的最好办法是学习它的语言，因为语言是文化的载体。你觉得呢？

　　W1: I agree with you completely.

　　我完全赞成你。

　　W2: Language really does teach you a lot about other cultures. Especially the Chinese language,because each character has a long history.

　　语言的确教你很多关于其他文化的东西，尤其是中文，因为每一个汉字都有悠久的历史。
