　　Began diving training in Hunan Spare-time Sports School and chosen by the Hunan provincial team in 1982. Joined the national team for intensified training in January 1986.

Now deputy secretary of the Party committee of the Hunan Provincial Sport Administration, deputy director of the Chaoyang Developing Zone in Yiyang City and deputy secretary of the Yiyang working committee.

　　1993年8月，进湖南大学国际商学院工业外贸专业学习，1997年八运会结束后退役，曾任湖南省体工队副大队长，1998年5月复出。2001年再度退役，现任湖南省体育局机关党委专职副书记、益阳市朝阳开发区副区长和益阳工委副书记。
