We’re going to Xi’an for three nights.

我们将去西安呆三个晚上。

A     When your friend is here, will you stay in Beijing the whole time?

A     当你朋友在这的时候，你们会一直呆在北京吗？

B         Most of the time we’ll be in Beijing.  But we’ll also do a short trip to Xi’an.

B          大部分时间我们都将在北京。但是我们也将去西安短暂停留。

A          That’ll be exciting.  Are you going to see the  Terracotta Warriors?

A          那好啊。你们将去看

B         Yes.  It’s an organised tour.  We’re both looking forward to it.

B         是的，我们随团旅游。我们都期待着去那里。

A          And how long will you be in Xi’an?

A          你们将在西安呆多久？

B    Not long.  We’re staying thee for three nights.

B     不会太久。我们将在西安住三晚。

1        You can talk about different lengths of time in various ways, eg: the whole time / the whole time eg: most of the time / most of the time eg: Most of the time we’ll be in Beijing / Most of the time we’ll be in Beijing.

你可以用不同的方法谈论时间的长短。例如the whole time /整个时间；most of the time /大部分时间。例如：Most of the time we’ll be in Beijing /大部分时间我们都将在北京。

2        When you describe how long you might stay in a place, eg: on a visit or on a holiday, you can use the number of nights or the number of days, eg: We’re staying three nights in Xi’an  / we’re staying three nights in Xi’an: We visited Beijing for ten days / We visited Beijing for ten days.

当你描述你将在某地停留多久时，例如去旅游或者去度假，你可以说几夜或者几天。例如：We’re staying three nights in Xi’an  / 我们将在西安住三晚: We visited Beijing for ten days /我们将在北京玩十天。
