生动白领英语表达:玩弄某人的感情

  与汉语一样,英语口语里也有许多人们交流中常用的习惯用语,习语的使用使得人们的交流更加形象生动。让我们来看看常用的一些习语吧。

  365.louse up:slang.to ruin or spoil《白领英语900句》:这是口语中很常用的一个习语,意思是“把某事搞得一团糟”或“把某事搞得一塌糊涂”。

  例如:louse up a deal;louse up a project。

  -The boss got hot under the collar, for Bob has loused up another contract.

  -If you put a hand in the business, you will louse up the whole thing.

  -She didn’t think that she would have loused up the business.

  -If you louse up the business again, you will be fired.

  相应的表达还有mess up;blow things。
