　　挣脱汉语的束缚(Let your Chinese be no hindrance)，关键在于把握汉语的意思。

　　“童子鸡”、“人妖”的启示

　　1.海内存知己，天涯若比邻。(Long distance separates no bosom friends.)

　　2.做事情要有轻重缓急，重要的、紧急的事情先做，次要的、不急的事情后做。

　　3.我只认一个道理：天道酬勤。(God reward those who work hard.)

　　4.要彻底解决13亿人口的吃饭穿衣问题，我们任重而道远。(so much to do)

　　5.要在短时间内学好英语，不发扬一点“头悬梁，锥刺骨”的精神是绝对办不到的。

　　17.读书的时候要思考，不能囫囵吞枣。(You’ll have to get your mind to think while you are reading anything and should not just read without understanding what you are reading.)

　　18.路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。(However hard it may be, I’ll never stop pursuing my goal till I find it.)

　　19. 知我者谓我无忧，不知我者谓我何求。(Those who know my mind would say I’m free of worries while those who don’t know my mind would wonder what I’m seeking.)

　　20.这次我可学乖了。俗话说：吃一堑，长一智嘛。(I know what I should do this time. As the saying goes: one learns from his past mistakes.)

　　21.雅思考高分，准备要充分。没听说嘛，工夫不负有心人。(To score high on IELTS…Haven’t you heard of the saying: if you keep trying, you’ll finally succeed.)

　　22.你问我怎么才能学好英语，那我要说：先买本好词典，这就叫作“公欲善其事，必先利其器”。(…you hope to do a good job, then be fully prepared for it.)
