　　New Beijing, New Olympics

　　When the ancient Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C. in Athens, neither the athletes nor spectators would have dreamed some day a new era for Olympians would dawn on a city far from their own——Beijing!

　　In 2008, every Chinese will be a window of the charming Beijing to the world. I have strived to piece together information on all aspects of Chinese culture: from the historical sites of the Forbidden City to the Great Wall, from the Chinese performances of Kong to Beijing Opera, from the delicious dishes of Beijing Roast Duck to Gunboat Chicken. Every bit of information can be helpful to me when the time comes for Beijing to welcome the world and the world to learn of a new Beijing!

　　The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing is not only about competition, but also about friendship, trust, mutual understanding, and world peace.
