　　One World, One Dream-The 2008 Olympic Games and Me

　　The Olympics has been a big activity and celebration for everyone in the whole wide world for many years and is also a symbol of peace and friendship.

　　China now has its place among the top countries in world sport and this has helped China to gain a lot of respect from the other countries in the world!

　　The moment I heard that Beijing was going to be the host city of the 2008 Olympics, I was delighted. I thought: “Finally, the world will have a chance to see how China has changed over the years!”

　　I am proud to be Chinese and I think it is wonderful that the Olympics are coming here. I will do my best to make China a better place for all the people to visit at this special time.

　　多少年来，对世界上每个人来说，奥林匹克运动会都是一场大型的庆典活动，也是和平与友谊的象征。

　　现在中国在世界体育强国中已占据了自己的一席之地，这有助于中国获得了世界上其它国家给予的高度重视。

　　在听到北京将作为2008年奥林匹克运动会的主办城市的那一刻，我兴奋极了，想到：“终于有机会让全世界看到中国这些年来的变化！”

　　我自豪我是中国人，奥林匹克来到中国是多么激动人心的一件事啊，在这个特殊时期，我愿为将中国建设的更美好而努力！
