　　比赛演讲稿

　　SOLAR SYSTEM OLYMPICS

　　It’s the year 3000. The people in the other eight planets of the solar system see that the Earth has already held over 200 Olympic Games. They decide to organize the solar system Olympics. But they have to learn from a city which hosted the most successful Olympic Games.

　　“Ladies and Gentlemen,” the King Jupiter says, “which city should we choose?”

　　“I think we should pick Athens”, a citizen in Venus says, “because the Olympic Games was born there.”

　　At this, a person from Mars shouts: “ I don’t agree. Los Angeles is the best choice. It created a new model to hold the Games.”

　　“Those cities are not the best,” the Mercury people argue, “Do you remember the 29th Olympics? The host city was Beijing! 1.3 billion Chinese people united under the Olympic flag. With the concept of ‘Green Olympics’, they greatly improved the environment. The sky became blue, the water became clear, the mountain became green, and the country became stronger. After the Olympic games, China has been developing rapidly. And China has done very well in building a peaceful and better world. What a successful Games it was!”

　　At last, the eight planets agree to take Beijing as their model. And the first solar system Olympics is a great success.

　　太阳系奥运会

　　现在是公元3000年，太阳系的八大行星看到地球已举办了200多届奥运会，于是，他们决定也组织一次太阳系奥运会。他们想选一个举办过最成功的奥运会的城市作参照。

　　“女士们，先生们，” 土星之王说道，“我们应选哪个城市呢？”

　　“我认为应该选雅典，”金星的居民说，“因为奥运会诞生在那里”。

　　“那些城市都不是最好的”，水星人争辩说，“你们还记得第29届奥运会吗？那是由北京举办的。1.3亿中国人民团结在奥林匹克旗帜下，以 ‘绿色奥运’为理念，他们极大地改善了环境，天变蓝了，水变清了，山变绿了，国家变得更强大了。奥运会以后，中国获得了快速的发展，并且为建设和平而美好的世界做得非常出色。这是多么成功的奥运会啊！”

　　最后，8个星球决定以北京为榜样举办这次奥运会，第一届太阳系奥运会获得了很大的成功。
