科学家公布地球裸照

The world's biggest ever geological mapping project, One Geology, has revealed what our world looks like when it is stripped bare of all its plants, topsoil, water and man-made structures (see cover),Daily Mail reported. One Geology coordinator Ian Jackson said, "Geological maps are essential tools in finding natural resources, and when planning to mitigate geohazards, like earthquakes, volcanoes and radon."

　　英国《每日邮报》2日报道称，参与世界最大规模地质制图项目One Geology的科学家们公布了地球"裸照"(见封面)--即去掉地球所有植物、土壤、水和人为建筑物后的图片。该项目协调人伊恩·杰克逊称："这种地质图是发现自然资源的重要工具，该图还用于减轻地震、火山爆发等自然灾害的损失。"
