剑桥商务英语大赛亚洲区半决赛即将拉开帷幕

　　Top young business talent in China compete for place in prestigious international Business English Speaking Contest

　　2007-2008剑桥商务英语(BEC)大赛亚洲区半决赛即将拉开帷幕

　　15 talented students will compete in the 2007-2008 Asian BEC Competition Semi-FinalChina on November 8 in Nanchang. They are aiming to win one place to represent China in the Asia Region International Final in Singapore early next year. Other contestants will come from, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and India.

　　15名优秀选手将于11月8日在南昌大学举行的2007-2008剑桥商务英语(BEC)大赛亚洲区半决赛上展开角逐。获胜选手将代表中国参加明年年初在新加坡举办的亚洲区决赛，与来自越南，

　　The contestants from China have already demonstrated excellent skills in business communication by winning the top places in BEC V and H May sessions.

　　这些选手已在今年5月BEC中高级和高级考试中取得了优异的成绩，充分展示了在商务领域中的英语应用能力。

　　For the semi-final, they will have to deliver a prepared presentation as well as give an impromptu speech and take part in a questions and answers session with the judges.
