据英国一家专为寻求外遇者服务的约会网站称，自去年十月市场崩盘以来，到该网站注册寻觅婚外恋的金融界人士大幅增加，而“金融”持续成为该网站用户所从事职业中人数最多的行业之一。这家提供婚外恋服务的网站称其在英国的用户超过38万，其中2万多人来自“金融服务行业”。该网站对600多名男女银行家进行的“婚外恋十大原因”调查显示，受到公众嫌恶和私生活缺少温暖是银行精英们搞婚外恋的头号原因，其他原因还包括寻求刺激、逃避无聊、自我满足以及向别人炫耀，等等。

　　IllicitEncounters.com said it has seena huge increase in the number of financial workers signing up to haveaffairs after the collapse of the markets in October last year, andthat "finance" continued to be one of the most represented professionalareas on the site。

　　The website said in a statement thatit has over 380,000 members across Britain of which more than 20,000work in "financial services" and said it surveyed over 600 men andwomen bankers to compile a top 10 list of reasons why they embarked onextra-marital affairs。

　　The list shows that public revulsion for bankers combined with a lack of affection in private was the topreason for having an affair,followed closely by the excitement of doing something risky, escaping boredom, feeding the ego and one-upping the boys with a trophy mistress。

　　"We were surprised at the honesty of some responses," IllicitEncounters representative Sara Hartley said of the replies, which also showed that long work hours and commuting left many bankers with very little time at home for romance。

　　"The more time they spend away from home, the less time they have to rekindle that spark."

　　A common reply from male respondents had to do with boosting egos and giving in to the peer pressure of having a mistress for the sake of status。

　　"Where I work, many of the tops (sic)dogs are open about their affairs," the website quoted "member 23*56"as saying in its statement. "Having a mistress is like having a flashcar."
