　　Carskicked by camels and damaged by nut-wielding squirrels are amongsome of Britain's most bizarre insurance claims。

　　一头尥蹶子的骆驼和一只乱丢坚果的松鼠都被英国人包括在最离奇的汽车损坏索赔单里。

　　Other claimsrevealed by insurance company www.elephant.co.uk,motorists have cited naked pedestrian jumping on top of their car,as well as decomposing carrots smeared across the road。

　　大象保险公司公布的索赔单里还包括：驾车者目击一个裸体行人在车顶上跳上跳下以及腐烂的胡萝卜汁弄湿了道路。

　　One female drivermanaged to fill her tank with the wrong substance after mistakingshampoo for a container of petrol。

　　还有一个妇女驾车者错把香波当作汽油灌进了汽车的油箱。

　　A Harrier jetwas accused of an incident when a motorist reported his windscreenmelted when the aircraft crash landed nearby and burst intoflames。

　　另一位驾车者则控诉他的车窗被头顶飞过摔下的飞机所燃起的火焰烧化。

　　Anotherwindscreen was destroyed when by squirrel throwing a nut from atree overhead。

　　另一则车窗破碎的事故则是由一只松鼠向树下的汽车投掷坚果所致。

　　Perhapsthe most unlikely culprit singled out in the claims was a pile ofdecomposing carrots, which caused a driver to skid and lose controlof his vehicle。

　　也许从一堆索赔单里挑出的最不可能的理由就是下面这个：一个驾车人刹车失灵，车子失控发生事故。其原因是大批腐烂胡萝卜的液体让路面变得湿滑。

　　Although thestories may seem funny, elephant Managing Director Brian Martinsaid that they should serve as a caution to drivers to be "aware oftheir surroundings at all times". Some claims can be avoided simplyby being aware both of what you are doing and what is going onaround you at all times。

　　尽管这些故事听起来很有趣，但是大象保险公司的总经理布莱恩·马丁提醒驾驶者应该“始终注意他们周围的情况”。只要时时留意周遭，那么有些事故还是可以避免的。

　　大象保险公司提及的这些事故中，骆驼踢坏汽车或者松鼠砸碎车窗之类的离奇事件是无法避免的，而诸如往油箱里灌洗发水之类的错误则是可以避免的。
