Lady Gaga——再多的语言都无法形容的女人，这次现身全英音乐大奖，着实又让世人震惊了一把。不过一位农场主却因此突发灵感，想出了保护麦田的好点子，是什么呢？

　　Anyone would be forgiven for thinking Lady Gaga had found herself a new career。

　　谁要是觉得Lady Gaga找到了一份新职业，这想法不能说没道理。

　　But the out rageous singer hasn't given up on the pop charts to chase off birds, but has become the inspiration for a farmer's scarecrow。

　　可是这位喜欢出风头的歌手不只是在全英音乐奖的颁奖礼上扮了回稻草人，她实实在在成了一个农民看守庄稼的好帮手。

　　Nigel Britten, who is the assistant manager at Whelan Farm, was getting fed up with pigeons munching on his wheat crops and had racked his brains to think of a way to save his livelihood。

　　Whelan农场的副经理Nigel Britten为偷吃小麦的鸽子伤透了脑筋，想尽办法要拯救他可怜的一亩三分地。

　　Then inspiration came to him and his fiancee as they watched Lady Gaga arrive at last Tuesday night's Brit Awards。

　　上个星期二，他和未婚妻一起看全英音乐奖颁奖礼时，Lady Gaga的出现给他带来了灵感。

　　Mr Britten said: "We were laughing at Lady GaGa's outfit and that extraordinary wig and talking about how scary she looked."

　　Britten说：“Lady Gaga的衣服和夸张的假发让我们笑疯了，她看上去真吓人。”

　　"My fiancee Marti joked that I should make a scarecrow which looked like her. I laughed and then it occurred to me it was actually a very good idea."

　　“我未婚妻Marti开玩笑说，我应该弄个Lady Gaga式的稻草人，我起先只觉得好笑，但后来觉得这是个相当好的办法。”

　　And Mr Britten said that so far, the 7ft tall Lady GaGa scarecrow, complete with shocking white wig made from cotton wool and dress, is keeping birds off his wheat crops。

　　Britten说，这个高7英尺、戴着棉毛织成的白色假发、穿着白色裙子的Lady Gaga稻草人成功地捍卫了他的小麦田。
