　　The Capital Gate building in the desert kingdom's capital, Abu Dhabi, has been certified by Guinness World Records as the "World's Furthest Leaning Man-made Tower." How far does it lean? Nearly five times farther than the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy。

　　The 35-story, 160-meter-high Abu Dhabi building has an 18-degree slope. Unlike the tower in Pisa, the Capital Gate building has been deliberately engineered to slant。

　　"It is a signature building which speaks to the foresight of the emirate," said Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon al Nahyan, the chairman of the building's owner, Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company。

　　The mixed-use building will be ready for occupancy at the end of the year。

　　In January, Dubai unveiled the world's tallest skyscraper: -the $1.5 billion, 160-story Burj Khalifa-, which has a height of more than 800 meters。

　　据报道，阿联酋首都阿布扎比在建的“首都门”目前已经被吉尼斯世界纪录认证为“世界上最斜的人造塔”。其倾斜度几乎是意大利比萨斜塔倾斜度的5倍。

　　这座35层塔高160米，整座塔向西倾斜18度。和比萨斜塔不同，这座塔的倾斜是刻意建造而成。

　　此建筑的“拥有者”阿布扎比国家展览公司的董事长阿勒纳哈扬说道：“这是一个标志性建筑，象征着这个国家的远见卓识。”

　　据悉，“首都门”将于今年年底前完工，届时将成为集酒店和办公场所为一体的综合建筑。

　　早在今年年初，“世界第一高楼迪拜塔”便在迪拜竣工。该建筑一共有160层，高达800多米，造价为15亿美元。
