时代新语:大学毕业生爱当“哈租族”

  如果说物价飞涨,什么都“买”不起成了现状,那么“租”便是不得不提的另一个相关现象。而现今数目庞大的“哈租族”到底是怎样的一群人呢?

  The "hire clan", or hazuzu, is a phrase coined in recent years. The philosophy of the hire clan's members is to spend less money, have fun and improve living standards while avoiding waste, allowing them to save for necessities. This is quite a departure from the traditional Chinese mentality of ownership。

  “哈租族”是近年来出现的一个新词。“哈租族”的观点是,花更少的钱享乐和提高生活水平,避免浪费,以便能够省下钱购买必需品。这与中国人传统的所有权心理有了很大的不同。

  With an average income for new university graduates of about 2,300 yuan a month - only slightly more than a migrant worker earns. The young adults of the hire clan have no choice but to follow the advice: If buying an apartment is not an option, renting is worth considering。

  新毕业大学生的月平均收入大约是2300元,比民工的收入高不了多少。这种情况让年轻的“哈租族”别无选择,只能遵从这一建议:如果买不起房,就考虑租房吧。

  But the group is renting not just flats and cars, but products that are only occasionally used - fine clothes and accessories for parties, and photographic and sports and camping equipment for holidays. This way, they can have fun and pursue a trendy lifestyle even though they cannot afford to buy these things。

  不过,“哈租族”不仅租房租车,还租偶尔使用的物品,比如参加派对的华丽服饰和配饰,还有度假用的摄影、运动和露营装备。通过这种方式,他们虽然买不起这些东西,却仍能享乐和追求时尚的生活方式。
