蓝精灵

　　The Smurfs is a comic and television franchise centred on a group of small blue fictional creatures called Smurfs, created and first introduced as a series of comic strips by the Belgian cartoonist Peyo (pen name of Pierre Culliford) on October 23, 1958.

　　《蓝精灵》是1958年10月23日由比利时漫画家沛优 (Peyo，Pierre Culliford的笔名)创作的一部漫画，描写一群生活在大森林中的蓝色精灵的故事。

　　The storylines tend to be simple tales of bold adventure. The cast has a simple structure as well: almost all the characters look essentially alike — mostly male, very short (3 apples high)，with blue skin, white trousers with a hole for their short tails, white hat in the style of a Phrygian cap, and sometimes some additional accessory that identifies a personality。

　　故事的主线是惊险冒险中的简单故事，人物的构成也较为简单：几乎所有的角色看起来都是以男性居多的、非常矮小的(三个苹果垒起来的高度)、蓝色皮 肤穿着白色裤子(有一个露出小尾巴的洞)、戴着白色佛里几亚式的帽子，有时也会有一些附属物来区分不同的人物性格。

　　The Smurfs fulfill simple archetypes of everyday people: Lazy Smurf, Grouchy Smurf, Brainy Smurf, and so on. All Smurfs, with the exception of Papa, Baby, Smurfette and Grandpa, are said to be 100 years old. There were originally 99 Smurfs, but this number increased as new Smurf characters appeared, such as Sassette and Nanny. All of the original Smurfs were male; later female additions are Smurfette and Sassette。

　　蓝精灵的采用了一些日常生活中人们身上常见的特征为原型，他们或是懒散的(惰惰)，或是易怒的(厌厌)，或是聪明的(聪聪)，或者拥有其他个性。所有的蓝精灵(除了蓝爸爸、蓝宝宝、蓝妹妹和蓝爷爷)据说都已有一百岁了。蓝精灵的数量最初是99个，但是这个数字随着新的蓝精灵角色的出现而增加，比如Sassette 和Nanny。最初所有的蓝精灵都是男的，后来一些女性角色被加入，例如蓝妹妹和Sassette。
