Persistent rains and consequent flood since Friday are plaguing the northeastern part of Sichuan Province, causing 13 deaths and leaving 18 people missing。

　　Local authorities said the Qujiang and Bahe rivers and their branches have surpassed their warning water level, forcing thousands of people to evacuate.
