Gas 加油 vs Oil 换气

　　在美国人们都在gas station(加油站)里给汽车加油。但加油为什么用gas station这一词来表达呢？那是因为gas的词义包含gasoline(汽油)的意思。如果不知道这道理，去加油站说加油，会被人们误解为是换机油。oil除了石油之意，还表示食用油等油光光的意思，因此给车加的油叫gas。当然gas车也用gas来表达，而英国却使用petrol这一词。

　　Oil不仅用于石油(crude oil—原油)，还用于其他各种油。

　　韩国是世界第四大原油进口国。
