　　Rafflesia arnoldii is the world’s largest flower having a diameter of about one meter and weighing up to ten kilograms. It is a rare flower and not easily located. It grows only once and blooms for around five days. This flower looks and smells like rotting flesh. Hence it also called as “meat flower” or “corpse flower”. The flower is pollinated by flies and carrion beetles attracted by its vile smell. It contains about 27 species and found in Indonesian rain forests of southeastern Asia and Philippines. Rafflesia is an official national flower of Indonesia。

　　阿诺尔特大花是世界上最大的花，它的直径有1米左右，重达10公斤。这种花非常罕见、难寻踪迹。这种花一生只开1次，花期长达5年。这种花看上去和闻起来就像一团腐肉，因此也叫做“肉花”或者“食人花”。这种花靠自己散发出的恶臭吸引苍蝇和腐尸甲虫帮它授粉。这种花有27个种类，生长在亚洲东南部的印度尼西亚和菲律宾的雨林中。阿诺尔特大花还是印度尼西亚的国花。
