第二届“新东方杯”英语口语大赛(微博)全国总决赛于2012年4月8日至11日在北京隆重举行。本次大赛以就业为主题，吸引了全国高校上万名学生报名参赛。“新东方杯”英语口语大赛针对全国大学生英语沟通应用能力，以开拓当代大学生国际视野，提升大学生跨文化交际素养，增强大学生职场竞争力为使命。以下为第二届新东方(微博)口语大赛华北赛区选手雷肖的简介。

　　It’s my great honor to participate in this competition, to challenge myself, to improve myself, and to bring out my potential to the fullest. In the meanwhile, I am sure that I will harvest unforgettable memories here which I will surely cherish for the rest of my life. Above all, I would like to thank New Oriental for holding this grand contest with a theme centered on career and campus, which I believe is really closely related to the career development of we college students. All in all, now that I am fortunate enough to enter the final round, I will spare no efforts to strive to be the best. Ambitious, courageous, diligent, those characteristics have always been with me and I am sure they will continuously instruct my winning in this contest as well as my future career.
